Wall Murals

Working from home during the pandemic meant seeing a lot of my coworkers' homes, including their chosen office spaces. To create a simple background for video calls, I set up my desk in the old dining room, which we converted into my son's playroom.

We wanted to design a playful space that was different from the other neutral coloured rooms in our house, so we decided to decorate with a wall mural. The mural we chose came in four strips and was easy to put up with two people.

To finish the look, we framed it with black-painted decorative trim from Home Hardware. We bought our mural from Society 6, but I've also seen murals on minted.com.
